As a society we have abused both animals and our planet, ignoring the way the health of our planet is declining with some even going as far as to say that animals do not have feelings. This is not only a completely unethical line of thinking, but this has gotten us exactly where we are now. Acid rain plagues our planet and many people do not realize that their dietary habits are part of the problem.

The Political Vegan is an effort to spread awareness about our planet and share ideas on how you can make a difference. Though it is at many times more difficult to be vegan than to maintain an omnivorous diet in society today, the more people make the change, the more we will be able to lead our planet to a more sustainable and ethical future.
